Precious creations by reputable manufactories and jewelry designers, breathtaking evening dresses by the well-known designer duo Talbot Runhof, fascinating timepieces and beautiful women shine in the light of INHORGENTA MUNICH.

It is with a breathtaking event that INHORGENTA MUNICH 2016 started into its 43rd season yesterday evening. This time, “Fine Jewelry” Hall B1 served as a stage for a brilliant jewelry and fashion show. Subdued light, a supreme atmosphere filled with sparkling champagne and VIP guests: such was the ambiance in which the models, led by style icon Nadja Auermann and the two up-and-coming catwalk beauties Cathy Hummels and her sister Vanessa, presented magnificent and precious jewelry of the INHORGENTA MUNICH exhibitors, among whom Gellner, IsabelleFa, Leo Wittwer, Ehinger-Schwarz, Henrich & Denzel, Hans D. Krieger, Meister, Gebrüder Schaffrath, Casio and many more.

Fashion and Jewelry, a Perfect Symbiosis

Besides Europe’s major jewelers, a great number of further female celebrities could be seen in the first row among the numerous guests. A few of them were the TV presenters Karen Webb, Funda Vanroy and Annemarie Carpendale as well as the singer Lena Meyer-Landrut.
While super model Nadja Auermann, dressed in a dazzling black evening gown, offered a truly top-class performance, yoga coach and actor Ralf Bauer (“Against the wind”) entered a catwalk for the first time again after thirty years. He presented Junghans watches, among other things.

Party and P1 – the INHORGENTA NIGHT

After the show, the evening continued in a relaxed way at the legendary Munich Club P1. Far more than 600 invited guests got themselves into an absolute party mood by enjoying drinks and delicacies in the mysteriously obscure P1 labyrinth. After 9 p.m., almost all of the gentlemen had removed their ties, and the ladies highly elegantly showed their very personal jewelry taste in combination with a Little Black Dress. Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, was enthusiastic about the beginning of the trade show: “In the past weeks and months, we have invested a lot of commitment and creativity in the preparation of INHORGENTA MUNICH. The great atmosphere at the INHORGENTA NIGHT at the Club P1 shows us that we are on the right track.”
Lena Meyer-Landrut was not only one of the guests at the INHORGENTA OPENING SHOW. She also appeared with her band at the Club P1, representing the musical highlight of the evening. “I am a passionate jewelry lover, but more the “golden type”, she said.

However, the evening at the P1, more than being filled with small talk on style matters, was mainly characterized by comments on INHORGENTA MUNICH ̶ and these were altogether positive after the first day of the trade show. Marc Czemper, Sales Director for Casio Watches in Europe stated, “A thing that really impressed me in the industry in 2015 was the indefatigable work performed by the INHORGENTA team in order to give this trade show a new orientation. He is convinced, “This trade show is an absolutely ideal place for us to present our new smartwatches”.

Happy about the fashion show’s successful premiere, the Exhibition Director of INHORGENTA MUNICH, Stefanie Mändlein, explains, “We would like to gain additional attention for INHORGENTA though this show and bring glamour into the city with this opening ceremony. This trade show has a long tradition, it takes place for the 43rd time now. Today, we combine tradition with modernity. We are delighted about the great number of celebrities present because they are ideal for conveying glamour to the outside.
