In cooperation with the clock manufacturer Sattler from
Gräfelfing, Chronoswiss is presenting an outline of the glorious
past of clockmaking and watchmaking in Bavaria. Regardless of whether
grandfather clock or chronograph on a wrist, both companies are clearly
committed to the Bavarian site and have located their new company
headquarters consciously in the Munich region. They want to point out
the clockmaking and watchmaking tradition in Bavaria, which is hundreds
of years old, with their joint trade fair exhibit. In addition,
exhibits from the Chronoswiss Museum and the collection –
including the Régulateur manual wind – as well as the
comprehensive portfolio of Sattler (among others, poliment-gilded style
clocks from 1962) can be seen. Watchmakers and clockmakers of both
companies will also demonstrate their skills live at the trade fair
booth. Of course, an outlook for the future is also imperative, because
both Sattler and Chronoswiss are strongly committed to training; the
watchmaker and the clockmaker companies also have a trainee exchange
program called the "Munich Model", to ensure a more comprehensive
education. You can get insights into the history and future of Bavarian
clockmaking and watchmaking history at the cooperation booth of
Chronoswiss Uhren GmbH and Erwin Sattler OHG Grossuhrenmanufaktur in
Hall B1/100. (
