ring system at Wuelfing guards a precious laser engraving between two moveable
layers. As with the annual growth rings of a tree, more individually selected outer rings
can "grow onto it" over time, and a very personal collection is created.

The new collection of the Zobel Studio is concentrating on stone fantasies of the
Hochstrasser brothers from Schaffhausen. The highly gifted stone grinders are skilled at
finding the right raw materials, recognizing their underlying properties and sealing their
fates. The material complies obediently with the will of the brothers. They create
extraordinary and imaginative shapes, which in turn inspire designers such as Michael
Zobel and Peter Schmid.
A Hochstrasser stone influences the design concept, but it also has to submit to it. The
unique jewelry pieces created by this seal the fate of the stones.
