Dieter Hahn, owner of Ph. Hahn Söhne Company, was awarded the highest honor by Messe München International, the Medal of Excellence in Gold, for his extraordinary contribution and dedication to the company group Messe München International.

The largest jewellery trade show in Poland – Amberif 2009, the 16th International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones – closed on March 14. From March 11 to 14, 2009, fhe exhibition halls of the Gdańsk International Fair Co. (MTG SA) hosted 469 exhibitors from 15 countries (including Belgium, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, the UK, the USA and Italy), among them jewellery designers, manufacturers of jewellery with amber, silver and gold, diamond dealers, manufacturers and distributors of specialist machines, and artists. This year the fair was open only to trade visitors.

Next year inhorgenta europe 2010 will not take place in January. The regular scheduled dates from February 19th to 22nd, 2010 will be kept intact. Thanks to a now unobstructed trade fair calendar a move to January is no longer necessary.

inhorgenta europe 2009 once again validated its role as one of the globally leading trade fair for jewelry, watches, gemstones, pearls, and technology.

Not only exhibitors reviewed the 2009 event favorably. 91 percent of visitors commented on having experienced an excellent or good trade show.

Innovative jewelry design was once again honored with the innovation award at this year’s inhorgenta europe.
