TeNo, the high-tech manufacturer of timepieces located in Pforzheim, opened a blog in the Internet in October of this year. The type of communication is rather rare in the German timepiece and jewelry market, contrary to individuals among whom the use of blogs is booming in all forms and variations. Managing Director Jürgen Heinz explained that the TeNo blog deals with issues of design and jewelry as well as marketing and jewelers. But the new TeNo platform is primarily designed to promote exchanges between companies, retailers, timepiece and jewelry lovers, jewelers and consumers. Mr. Heinz explained that the purpose is not to present success stories, but instead to report honestly and authentically about everyday company work.
